These jolly gnome items made their merry way through the mail from La Grande, Oregon to Kirtland, Ohio for the special Gnome and Garden Exhibition at the Holden Arboretum. Local artists painted and decorated larger than life gnomes guarding various spots of the arboretum and will be on display until September 25, 2011. Here are some photos of the exhibit taken by some members of the Flickr community. While I won't be able to visit the arboretum during the exhibit, I'm glad my little gnomes can greet their guests at the gift shop with a friendly smile.
